  16. bottle; in Glen Cove, Me. In the late 1960s the Du Pont
  17. engineer, who was a son of the illustrator N.C. Wyeth and
  18. brother of the painter Andrew Wyeth, developed a bottle made
  19. of polyethylene terephthalate, or PET, which became a standard
  20. material for drink containers.
